Shanghai, China, has issued an action plan to promote sustainable practices within the automobile industry development with hydrogen fuel cells a key aspect of this.
Jiading District in east Shanghai will see an influx of policies and investment opportunities to ensure that hydrogen and fuel cell variants of vehicles will be widely available within the Chinese city to reduce carbon emissions.
