Germany, Austria, and Denmark are set to gain a new network of hydrogen refuelling retail sites with the announcement today (July 19) of the closing of a 50-50 joint venture.
JET H2 Energy, a joint venture between subsidiaries, Phillips 66 and H2 Energy Europe, has set out to combine Phillips 66’s retail experience with the hydrogen knowledge of H2 Energy to establish 250 hydrogen refuelling stations in Europe by 2026.
The JET H2 Energy hydrogen network is set to serve heavy and light-duty and passenger vehicles, comprised of existing JET® branded stations as well as new locations on major transport routes.
