ITM Power has signed an 8MW electrolyser capacity reservation for systems that will be used in a UK Government-funded project.
Securing manufacturing capacity for four Neptune II 2MW PEM units, the reservation plans to see the units produced in 2025/2026 for the unnamed customer’s UK project.
The project has already secured funding through the UK’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 (HAR1) and expects to cross final investment decision in 2025, according to ITM.
