UK electrolyser manufacturer ITM Power has signed a 500MW capacity reservation with an unnamed global industrial customer.
Securing the future production capacity of its PEM electrolyser stacks, the company said the agreement covers a period until the end of 2028 for future projects in the US and Europe.
The reserved capacity is mainly for the electrolyser manufacturer’s Trident stack platform based on a 2MW skid, with the potential for some 5MW Neptune containerised plants to be on the order sheet.
