ITM Power has today (July 3) revealed it is strengthening its partnership with Mott Corporation to further advance key PEM electrolyser components for green hydrogen production.
The two companies will work together to further enhance the efficiency and performance of ITM’s PEM technology and to develop its next generation of stack.
ITM says its current stacks operate at the “highest current density on the market,” resulting in lower stack costs due to reduced material use, which in turn brings very specific requirements for porous transport layers (PTL), which will be a focus of the new collaboration.
