ITM Power and W.L Gore & Associates have announced a collaboration to further explore the performance of proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis to produce hydrogen.
Both companies will use its expertise in science and technology, and use ITM’s electrolyser testing facilities to enable fast paced progress, further enhance stack performance and its durability and reliability as part of ITM’s technology development programme.
ITM previously announced the sale of 100MW of PEM electrolysers to Linde Engineering and more recently was awarded a contract to supply materials and components to a 100MW hydrogen project in Germany.
