Italian naval vessels, including submarines and surface ships, are set to be supplied with green hydrogen by Fincantieri and Enel Green Power Italia.
This will additionally see green hydrogen used within port areas and long-range maritime transport as part of the new joint agreement between Italian companies.
These targets have been formalised with a memorandum of understanding (MoU), revealed today (August 5), with the two companies intending to exploit its expertise and know-how in their respective fields for hydrogen.
