Vancouver-based clean technology Ionomr Innovations is developing ion-exchange membrane and polymer solutions enabling electrochemical solutions that comprise cornerstone systems for the renewable energy economy and achieving carbon neutrality, including fuel cell systems, hydrogen production, CO2 reduction, and a variety of energy storage applications.
Focused on hydrogen from the start, Ionomr was born out of the innovation ecosystem in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada’s hydrogen and electrochemistry hub. Fast forward to the present day, and the company has grown rapidly and is now part of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Coalition and the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association.
H2 View spoke exclusively with Bill Haberlin, CEO of Ionomr Innovations and Benjamin Britton, Chief Strategy Officer at Ionomr to find out more about the company’s innovations and what they mean for the hydrogen economy.
