The Association of German Offshore Wind Farm Operators (BWO) today hosted its event entitled, The Role of Offshore Wind in the Shift to a Hydrogen Economy.
Focused on the role of offshore wind in the hydrogen economy, the event will see representatives from Germany and the UK gather together to discuss the future role of green hydrogen in the British Embassy in Berlin.
Ahead of the event, the event’s speakers shared their views about the future of offshore wind power and the future role of green hydrogen.
“Offshore wind is playing an important role for the transition to a low-carbon economy. Last year, our two countries accounted for 85% of installed capacity in Europe,” said Sir Sebastian Wood, British Ambassador to Germany.
