Up to 15 successful applicants will have the chance to visit South Korea and see developments in its fast-moving hydrogen industry first hand as part of a programme organised by Innovate UK.
The visit, held under Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme South Korea, is scheduled between October 27-November 4, coinciding with the Hydrogen Electric Energy Exhibition in Ulsan.
With South Korea’s hydrogen economy set to double in size to £17.3bn in the next 10 years, the opportunities for UK companies developing hydrogen technologies are considerable.
By February this year, the Asian country had made significant strides in the adoption of hydrogen technology, with the introduction of 30,000 hydrogen vehicles, 231 hydrogen charging stations, and 893.97 MW of fuel cells for power generation.
