The UK’s hydrogen ecosystem continues to see widescale innovation and investment with INEOS revealing today (May 4) its intention to develop hydrogen distribution networks.
Working with a project with SGN, it is expected that it will help determine how existing natural gas networks can be repurposed for hydrogen.
Taking place in Grangemouth, the trial which is funded by the Energy Regulator and gas companies will use hydrogen supplied by INEOS in a 29km section of decommissioned pipeline to Granton.
