Ohmium International has been selected as the proton exchange membrane (PEM) partner of India’s largest power utility NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL).
The agreement with REL, which has more than 70GW of installed generation capacity, is valid until May 2025 and will help it deploy 5GW of renewable energy for green hydrogen and ammonia production.
Ohmium’s electrolysers will be deployed in up to 400MW of projects across industrial and commercial applications, such as ammonia, power and transportation, and provide a solution that produces green hydrogen at a competitive cost.
