The UK and India are set to collaborate on green hydrogen production, as part of a recently strengthened agreement focused on accelerating the move to global clean energy in the decade ahead.
UK Business and Energy Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng on Friday (Oct 8) met with India’s Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Raj Kumar Singh, for the third UK-India Energy for Growth Dialogue, at which the new goals were formalised.
Cementing their commitment to longer term collaboration, the ministers endorsed an ambitious forward action plan on clean energy, including green hydrogen production, boosting renewable energy and storage and improving energy efficiency measures.
