Industry body the India Hydrogen Alliance (IH2A) has announced today (December 19) that six new members will join the cause for India’s hydrogen development.
Hero Future Energies, bp, Welspun Corp, Tubacex, Climate Policy Initiative and Climate Group will work closely with the Government of India on the development of the hydrogen economy and supply chain in India.
The Alliance was formed in April 2021, and it wants to attract global climate finance for the development of a large-scale hydrogen hub in India, to support the country’s goals of achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2070.
