After four quarters of missed financial reporting and an independent investigation into its accounting and governance, Hyzon Motors’ CEO has told H2 View the fuel cell and truck firm has turned a new page.
“I’m confident the company is in an incredibly different place from a governance and financial control standpoint,” said Parker Meeks in an exclusive interview with H2 View due to be published next Wednesday (October 11).
In August 2022, Hyzon confirmed it would not issue its Q2 2022 finances by its deadline, stating it had been made aware of “revenue recognition issues in China” and other governance and compliance issues, seeing it launch an independent investigation.
The statement and subsequent investigation set off a chain of events that saw Hyzon’s co-founders’ step away from the organisation, seeing Meeks installed as President and Interim CEO the same month.
