Hyzon Motors extends IP agreement to commercialise stationary fuel cell products

US-based hydrogen fuel cell and truck company Hyzon Motors has expanded its market access to stationary fuel cell power applications in North America.

Under an amendment to its Intellectual Property (IP) agreement with Horizon, Hyzon plans to commercialise stationary products including near-term demand in applications such as data centres, the entrainment industry, battery-electric vehicle charging and remote industrial power needs.

It comes as Hyzon says hydrogen fuel cell power is expected to be viable in the much larger stationary energy storage market where longer durations of energy storage are required.
