78,000 square-feet of existing building space located in New York State is being transformed into a manufacturing facility for next-generation fuel cells specialised for heavy and medium-duty commercial vehicles.
The facility, which will create approximately 100 new jobs for the state, will be owned and operated by hydrogen vehicle manufacturer Hyzon Motors. Unveiled today (19th Feb), the new building is an expansion the company’s existing facility in the area and is scheduled to be complete in April.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has already thrown support behind the new development. “New York’s targeted investments in the tech and green energy industries are attracting new businesses to the state and creating more opportunities for New Yorkers,” he said.
