Hyve 1 and Chart directors shared their insights during the ‘Mobilising Mobility’ third session at H2 View’s first Asia-Pacific conference and exhibition in Kuala Lumpur last week.
Hyve 1 is a large scale, clean fuel energy development project, focusing on the hard-to-abate decarbonisation sector.
Managing Partner Chris Barker said, “Our focus is really how do we create large scale hydrogen fuel supplies across the United States, as this market continues to grow, and making sure we develop fuelling stations that map existing transport corridors across the country. The estimates indicate $40bn of growth in the next 10 years, so it’s going to be critically important to develop supply fuel and distribution networks,” he said.
