Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility’s fleet of XCIENT fuel cell trucks has now surpassed one million kilometres of driving in just 11 months of service in Switzerland, it was revealed on Thursday (July 1).
In achieving this feat, it has been estimated that a total of 630 tonnes of carbon emissions have been prevented when compared to diesel-powered vehicles.
Since taking to the Swiss roads back in October 2020, the 46 strong fleet have been able to reach this milestone having been in the service of 25 companies in logistics, distribution and supermarket fulfilment.
