Hyundai Motor and Forze Hydrogen Racing have joined forces to push the boundaries of fuel cell mobility.
Announced today (22nd March), the partnership presents a magnificent opportunity for Forze, a student team that designs, build and competes hydrogen electric racing vehicles.
Located in the Netherlands, Forze hopes to this year finish the first iteration of its Forze IX with one balance of plant. Next year, the team will implement the second balance and finish the car.
Once complete it is expected to be the world’s fastest fuel cell electric racing car and a profound breakthrough in sustainable racing. The vehicle will have a top speed of 300 km/h, and an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds.
