The Hyundai Nexo has broken the world record for the longest distance travelled by a hydrogen-powered vehicle on a single tank.
The record was broken by last week by French aeronaut and President of the Solar Impulse foundation, Bertrand Piccard, when he covered an astonishing 778km across France in car.
Beginning his journey, Piccard left the FaHyence hydrogen station in Sarreguemines last Monday (25th November 2019) and then arrived at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Le Bourget the next day, completing the 778km with 49km remaining on the range display.
