Hyundai, Air Products Qudra (APQ), Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) and Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) have partnered to drive forward hydrogen mobility in Saudi Arabia.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the companies have agreed to establish a hydrogen-based mobility ecosystem in the Kingdom by prompting demonstration projects of hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles and exploring research opportunities.
Hyundai Motor is expected to supply hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles to SAPTCO as part of the partnership, while KATECH plans to explore further opportunities for R&D collaboration. AQP also plans to secure hydrogen supply for the partnership.
