Hyphen Hydrogen Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) and others to accelerate the delivery of sub-Saharan Africa’s ‘largest’ green hydrogen project.
Hyphen also signed MoU’s with the Namibian Ports Authority (NamPort), NamPower, the Port of Rotterdam (PoR), Gasuine and Invest International, creating a partnership to drive the project forward.
The GRN has also revealed it would exercise its right to take up a 24% equity interest in the Hyphen project at historical cost, the investment being held through SDG Namibia One which will look to raise money from local and worldwide investors.
