Hyphen Hydrogen Energy and the Development Bank of South Africa (DBSA) have closed a €5m ($5.4m) project preparation funding loan for Hyphen’s $10bn Namibian green hydrogen project.
The loan, announced at COP28, is set to be used for the partial funding of engineering, environmental and socio-economic work for the project’s development up to the final investment decision (FID).
