Hygenco Green Energies and Mitsubishi Power will explore the possibility of delivering green hydrogen and ammonia-fired gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power plants.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two companies will aim to provide the solutions in their respective countries, India and Japan, and other locations worldwide.
Hygenco will supply the green fuel for the GTCC technology, which Mitsubishi will us to develop and deploy “scaled-up, commercially viable green hydrogen and ammonia production assets,” on a build-own-operate or gas-as-a-service basis.
