Hydrom and thyssenkrupp nucera to localise electrolyser hubs in Oman

Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) and thyssenkrupp nucera have agreed to explore the feasibility of setting up facilities in Oman dedicated to producing electrolysers.

thyssenkrupp nucera has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salim Nasser Al Aufi, potentially paving the way for the localisation of assembly and service hubs in the Middle Eastern nation.

The German firm emphasised that the MoU reinforces its “footprint and commitment to the Middle East region.” In a statement, thyssenkrupp nucera highlighted the agreement as a “further indication” of its efforts to collaborate with strong global partners to drive regional development of hydrogen markets through localisation initiatives.
