HydrogenPro bags DKK 35m grant for electrode factory

HydrogenPro has been awarded DKK 35m ($5.1m) from the Danish Government for an electrode factory that could meet the needs of up to 500MW of electrolyser capacity.

The H2-GIGA factory is planned to produce over 77,00 electrodes per year, with the facility in Randers, Denmark, set to feature one nickel foam production line and six electrode plating lines.

Set to be carried out by the electrolyser manufacturer’s subsidiary HydrogenPro Advanced Surface Plating (ASP), the company said feasibility analysis showed Denmark was a “well-suited” location for the new electrode factory.
