One of the world’s first hydrogen-powered towns could be located in Lincolnshire, UK, in a move that is set to cut emissions in the location by a quarter.
In support of the UK Prime Minister’s 10-Point Plan, Cadent and Equinor today (Dec 15) said they will evaluate converting the town to hydrogen and develop technical assessments and concepts for hydrogen production, storage, demand and distribution for heat.
Sally Brewis, Head of Regional Development at Cadent, said, “Northern Lincolnshire is primed to play a major role in the UK hydrogen for heat revolution.
