An Australian tri-state collaboration has joined forces to develop a renewable hydrogen refuelling network for heavy-duty transport spanned across the country’s eastern seaboard.
Queensland, New South Wales and Victorian governments today (March 25) formalised a joint collaboration on the effort that will see hydrogen transportation further supported on Australia’s busiest road freight routes.
In addition to further developing the country’s hydrogen economy, the fuelling network will also create new jobs, drive investment across the east coast and is a landmark step towards meeting Victoria’s target to halve emissions by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050.
