The German city of Chemnitz, IAV and its partners have developed a hydrogen strategy for cross-sector use in the region.
IAV has plans to establish the Chemnitz region as a leading location for research and development of innovative hydrogen technologies moving forward, with a focus on the production, storage and application of hydrogen.
The strategic plan’s first actions will see the implementation of a hydrogen economy in the ‘HyExperts Region’ in the southwest Saxony area, which was presented in Chemnitz on Wednesday 20, 2023.
