Hydrogen-powered truck set for trial in Slovakian logistics operations

The Czech Republic’s METRANS Group and Mobility and Innovation Production (MIP) have agreed to begin operational testing of a hydrogen-powered truck in Slovakia.

Under a Letter of Intent, the two companies will begin the testing of the truck, which is reportedly capable of travelling 750km on a single tank powered by its hydrogen fuel cell and motor technology.

As part of the real-world testing, the truck will be deployed for container transport within METRANS’ European network and is scheduled to be fuelled with green hydrogen.
