Hydrogen-powered police car to be introduced for Queensland, Australia

A hydrogen-powered police vehicle will be introduced in Queensland, Australia, with the Government revealing its intention to decarbonise the public services today (Dec 13).

With Australia rapidly scaling its infrastructure, this has allowed an increase in the amount of hydrogen vehicles able to be introduced to the roads.

As part of this, the local police service will gain a hydrogen-powered Hyundai Nexo that will be used by the North Brisbane Domestic and Family Violence Vulnerable Persons Unit.
