Solaris has revealed today (May 24) that hydrogen-powered Urbino buses have been utilised on Austrian streets in Carinthia in preparation for the ‘H2 Carinthia’ project.
A detailed presentation of the bus had been hosted in the Austrian town of Villach showcasing the buses strengths and how hydrogen-powered transport can help decarbonise sectors.
With the presentation and successful test drives, which will last until the end of May, the buses are expected to be widely used by the Austrian public with regional authorities and local transport operators expressing its support.
