Canadian-based Hydrogen Optimized has established a new Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to support the development of its patented RuggedCell™ electrolysers.
Composed of scientists and academics, the SAB is hoped to accelerate the company’s efforts to advance its hydrogen production technology.
Dr. Gregory Jerkiewicz, Professor, Department of Chemistry at Queen’s University; Dr. Bruno Pollet, Pressor of Chemistry at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières; and Dr. Pavel Gris, Chief Scientist of KEY DH Technologies and Adjunct Professor, Department of Chemistry at the University of Waterloo, are the inaugural board members.
Hydrogen Optimized’s RuggedCell technology, designed for large-scale clean hydrogen production, builds off over 100 years of the Stuart family’s legacy in alkaline unipolar water electrolysis cells and plant designs, which it says has delivered one billion cell-hours of operation across 1,000 plants in 100 countries.
