A UK government-backed event showcased hydrogen-powered trucks from manufacturers such as FAUN Zoeller and Toyota.
Held at UTAC Millbrook, HyHaul brought together UK-based operators to gain firsthand experience of hydrogen—powered heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
Rides on FAUN Zoeller and Toyota Hillux vehicles took place on Millbrook’s Hill Route. At the same time, attendees could also explore other hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure, including Viritech’s ICEBreaker and Fuel Cell Systems’ HyQube.
HyHaul plans to develop the “UK’s largest hydrogen mobility corridor” along the M4. It will deploy hydrogen fuel cell HGVs and refuelling stations along the motorway, rolling out 30 vehicles by 2026 and 300 by 2030.
