The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed an advisory agreement with Hydrogen Europe that will help identify projects that could receive EIB financing.
This will see the groups cooperate on market development initiatives and conduct joint market outreach with the agreement also set to develop dedicated EIB financing products for green hydrogen.
Total investment in clean hydrogen in Europe is expected to reach up to €470bn ($558bn) by 2050.
