An India refinery is set to receive hydrogen compression technology forming part of its expansion project in a hope to improve efficiency and improve sustainability.
Howden revealed on Monday (June 27), it had signed a contract to supply its hydrogen reciprocating compressors for MSB Unit at the Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP) in India.
The order comes as Numaligarh Refinery Limited expands its capacity from three million to nine million tonnes per year, by installing a new six million tonne per annum Crude Oil Distillation Unit / Vacuum Distillation Unit as part of the NREP, H2 View understands.
