The European Hydrogen Association Assembly was held in Rotterdam on May 14, which ended in the signature of a Cooperation Charter for European Associations Advancing Clean Hydrogen.
Organised by Hydrogen Europe and co-hosted by NLHydrogen, the assembly invited 23 national associations to agree on the Cooperation Charter, which will guide joint efforts to establish favourable conditions for European leadership in hydrogen technologies.
Following a keynote speech from Karlo van Dam, Director of Sustainable Industry at the Dutch Ministry of Economics and Climate, the attendees committed to collaborating on promoting hydrogen tech deployment, de-risking investments and deploying capacity-building efforts.
Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, CEO of Hydrogen Europe, claimed the Charter is an “expression of our commitment to working together in the coming years to facilitate hydrogen deployment at national levels.”
