Hydrogen buses have started passenger services in Liverpool, taking urban mobility to new environmental and service levels.
Features include include camera wing mirrors to improve safety, audio and visual announcements for next stops – with high definition onboard screens to update passengers on journey progress in real time – along with wireless and USB charging points, internet access and reading lights.
The 20 hydrogen bus fleet will be directly purchased through the Liverpool City Region’s Transforming Cities Fund, according to a Liverpool City Region statement.
