The hydrogen aircraft market is projected to reach around $174bn by 2040 according to Gediminas Ziemelis, Chairman of the Board at Avia Solutions.
Hydrogen has been touted as the future for aviation fuel for decades however with the high production costs associated with the fuel, it has never been plausible for widespread integration.
With the rate at which the hydrogen market and infrastructure is currently expanding, the costs to produce hydrogen is declining making integration into aviation more economically viable.
