HydroFleet to invest $33m for natural gas-based hydrogen refuelling hub in Georgia

North Carolina-based HydroFleet plans to invest almost $33m in building an integrated natural gas-based hydrogen production and refuelling station in Georgia to support heavy-duty fuel cell truck deployments.

The firm, which claims to have delivered 450,000kg of hydrogen fuel to end-user fleets since its founding in 2016, says the new facility in Pooler will refuel seven to 14 trucks per day initially.

In a presentation document, HydroFleet says it will produce hydrogen using a small-scale autothermal reformation (ATR) unit manufactured by OneH2.
