HydePoint and Norwegian Hydrogen will jointly develop 10-40MW dockside and near-shore green hydrogen projects in Europe.
The partnership has a focus on scaling hydrogen production “within a two or three-year timeframe, whilst laying the foundation for large-scale, offshore wind-integrated hydrogen ventures in the next phase.”
H2 View understands that HydePoint will provide its hydrogen production technology suited for maritime environments, whilst Norwegian Hydrogen will utilise its expertise in operating hydrogen infrastructure.
Initially, the two companies will concentrate on near-shore projects, before they eventually explore large-scale offshore hydrogen production, particularly in combination with offshore wind farms.
