Hy Stor Energy is set to provide clean hydrogen to Port Bienville Industrial Park and Stennis International Airport in the US, aiming to decarbonise land, air, sea, and space operations and industry.
The Mississippi-based firm today (June 29) a strategic partnership with Hancock County Port and Harbour Commission (HCPHC) which will see hydrogen produced from its planned Mississippi Clean Hydrogen Hub used to clean up manufacturing, industrial applications, port operations, and long duration energy storage.
During the initial phase of the partnership Hy Stor has said it expects to produce 350 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per day and store over 71,000 tonnes in its underground salt caverns.
