Iceland has set an ambitious target to become carbon neutral by 2040 and, to help achieve this goal, hydrogen has been recognised as a key resource in realising this goal.
To support the nation’s energy transition, HS Orka and Hydrogen Ventures have today (August 5) revealed new a plan to develop a production plant for green methanol using green hydrogen for the marine sector.
This project will comprise of two phases, with an initial 30MW input, followed by a second phase of a much larger scale for the production of green hydrogen.
