Canadian silicon solutions manufacturer HPQ Silicon Resources has extended its partnership with Apollon Solar SAS, which includes the production of clean renewable hydrogen.
The extension is the fifth partnership renewal and will focus on promising venues for both the renewable energy sector and the decarbonisation of the economy.
A large part of the agreement will focus on clean renewable hydrogen production using Apollon Solar Gennao H2™ 200W, a fuel cell-based system that produced hydrogen by hydrolysis by combining water with an environmentally friendly chemical powder.
Replacing the chemical powder presently used with nano silicon powders, such as those about to be produced by the HPQ Nano PureVap™ Nano Silicon Reactor, could significantly increase the hydrogen generation capacity of the system.
