The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Hydrogen has today launched an inquiry into how the UK’s hydrogen sector can help support the country’s economic recovery.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on the UK’s economy and the APPG is looking to explore what potential opportunities hydrogen creates in order to contribute towards rebuilding a green economy.
This could involve the creation of highly skilled jobs in the energy sector as well as supporting the UK’s net-zero targets as we emerge from the crisis.
The APPG’s call for evidence will look at what steps need to be taken to ensure that hydrogen is part of the solution to a greener future.
