German clean hydrogen project developer HH2E has announced its second major green hydrogen production project in Germany, receiving backing from HydrogenOne Capital and Foresight Group.
Dubbed the Thierbach project, located in the Borna region, HH2E plan to initially build 100MW of capacity by 2025, with intentions of scaling the site to over 1GW by 2030.
H2 View understands the plant will be built and operated by HH2E under a newly formed company, HH2E Werk Thierbach GmbH, and will serve customers across the energy, transportation, and industrial sectors in Germany.
