Hexagon Purus has received an order worth €3.8m ($4m) for its hydrogen storage systems from a German customer.
HPS Home Power Solutions AG has purchased the solution to use in its ‘picea’ product and they expect to receive the storage systems during Q2 2024.
HPS’ picea is an electricity storage product based on hydrogen and solar energy. Using surplus solar power during the summer, hydrogen can be produced via an electrolyser to provide electricity in the winter.
