Whilst the idea of switching to a hydrogen boiler might sound daunting, it turns out it’s actually quite boring – for the user nothing changes.
Coming face-to-face with Worcester Bosch’s hydrogen-ready prototype at its headquarters in Worcester, it looks just like any other boiler currently found in homes around the UK, uses most of the same technology and would operate much the same way too.
Apart from one thing, this clever white box can run on natural gas, the way most homes in the UK are currently powered, but is also capable of converting to 100% hydrogen following a visit by an engineer lasting no more than one hour.
