Haffner to begin continuous biomass-to-hydrogen production in France

Haffner Energy will begin producing renewable hydrogen via its organic waste thermolysis process at its Marolles Champagne facility in France.

Following a year of development, the facility is now equipped with next-generation, standardised industrial production equipment and has been designed to operate continuously for 8,000 hours a year.

H2 View understands that the plant will produce and market “mobility-grade” hydrogen at a rate of “15kg per hour, or almost 120 tonnes per year – the equivalent of 12 million kilometres driven by hydrogen-powered vehicles.”
